Mr.
Basketball Invitational
2002 All-Americans
The 2002 Mr. Basketball Invitational featured 32 prep boys all-star teams from
14 states. Fox Valley Skillz I from Wisconsin came out on top, winning
seven games in route to the Mr. Basketball title. Congrats to tournament
MVP Brian Butch of Appleton, Wisconsin. Butch (photo above) averaged 17 points per game
and scored 19 in the championship game.
The event featured many future NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA
and junior college players. Our All-American Team recognizes the
performances of 30 of the top players in the event.
