Mr. Basketball, Inc., organizes several youth tournaments open to 3rd-9th grade boys and girls teams from December to March. Registration forms are available in PDF format. The two biggest events are the Midway Snow Jam set for Feb. 22-23, 2014, and the Kearney Blowout on March 22-23, 2014. In 2013, we set records with 254 teams in the Snow Jam and 189 teams in the Kearney Blowout. Teams from more than 60 Nebraska communities, along with Iowa, South Dakota, Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming participated in 2013. Both events guarantee teams 3 games in great facilities, with experienced officials and the best organization around. Both events are open to 3rd-9th grade boys and girls teams.
Whether you are from a small school, or the largest, we have a division for you! The Midway Snow Jam and Kearney Blowout tournaments are large enough to offer multiple brackets in almost every grade, helping to ensure competitive games throughout.
These events have attracted teams from all across Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming and even Utah.
In addition to the Snow Jam and Blowout, Mr. Basketball, Inc., hosts the Santa Slamfest in Kearney, the Lex Jam in Lexington, Hoopfest in Ravenna & Cairo, the I-80 Jam in Ogallala and the Duster Dunkfest in Holdrege. These are all very popular events that will draw teams from across the state. Register early!
