2011 Nia Coffey Hopkins Royals
The 6-0 junior was an All-Conference and honorable mention All-State
performer for Hopkins in 2010 as they won the state championship. She
averaged 11.5 points during the Dakota Showcase as the Royals went
undefeated en route to the tournament title.
2010 Mikaela Shaw and Keriann Shaw
Nebraska Twisterz
The sister duo of Mikaela and Keriann both averaged double figures
(14.5 and 11.5 respectively) as the Nebraska Twisterz won their
second-consecutive Dakota Showcase title. During the regular season the
sisters helped Sandy Creek (Nebraska) to the State Championship and a
23-3 record.

2009 Stacia Robertson and Kate
Edwards Nebraska Twisterz
The balanced attack of Robertson and Edwards helped power the
Nebraska Twisterz to their first Dakota Showcase championship.
Robertson, a 6-1 senior from Grand Island High School (Neb.), paced the
Twisterz averaging 16.2 points per game. She has committed to the
University of South Dakota. Edwards, a Crete (Neb.) senior also was in
double-digits in scoring during the Dakota Showcase, adding 13.0 points
per game.

2008 Katie Schechinger IBCA Iowa
Select Red
The 6-3 senior-to-be post from IKM-Manning high school was one of
many talented players that led the IBCA Iowa Select Red team to their
second Dakota Showcase championship. As a junior, she
averaged a double-double (22.9 points and 11.3 boards) per game for IKM-Manning. In the Dakota Showcase,
she averaged 10.0 points per game on a balanced IBCA Iowa Select Red

2006 Kelsey Woodard Daubert Pinnacle Nebraska
The 5-10 senior-to-be guard led the
Nebraska squad with over 11 points per game in the Dakota Showcase,
including 11 in the eight-point championship win over South Dakota Elite
as her squad avenged an earlier loss in pool play. As a junior, she
averaged 13 points and earned was named second-team super state at
Bellevue West High School in Nebraska. Sister of 2001 MVP, Kristi
Woodard, she has verbally committed to Creighton University.

2005 Nicole Clausen IBCA Iowa
Select I
The 5-8 senior-to-be guard led the Iowa
squad with 13 points per game in the Showcase, including 17 in the
four-point championship win over Nebraska Bison Select. As a junior, she
averaged 18.5 points and earned all-state honors for 21-4 Denison. She has
verbally committed to Northern Iowa University.

2004 Earnesia Williams Air
Oklahoma Stars
Williams, a 6-1 senior-to-be from
Sapulpa, Okla., averaged 18 points and 10 boards as a junior for a 24-3
squad that reached the state quarterfinals for the third consecutive year.
During the Dakota Showcase, she averaged 15.2 points. Ranked the #39
senior in the nation, she has signed with the University of Texas.

2003 Andrea Verdegan Wisconsin
Velocity Red
Verdegan, a 5-8 senior-to-be from
Flambeau High School in Glen Flora, Wisc., led the Wisconsin Velocity Red
to the 2003 title. She averaged 11.0 points per game. She scored a tourney
single game high of 24 vs. Daubert Pinnacle Nebraska. At Flambeau High,
she averaged 16 points and 3.5 assists per game for the 23-1 team. She now
plays for South Dakota St. University.

2002 Crystal Howard Daubert
Pinnacle Nebraska I
Howard, a 5-9 junior-to-be from Omaha
Central led a balanced Daubert attack with to the 2002 Dakota Showcase
crown with 12.8 points per game, including 18 in a one-point semifinal win
over Kansas Hoop Service. As a sophomore, she was named 1st team all-state
as she led Central to the state semifinals and a 16-7 record. She averaged
17.5 points and 6.1 rebounds. After originally playing at the University
of Missouri, Howard has transferred to Iowa Western CC.

2001 Kristi Woodard Tournament Gold I
Woodard, a 5-9 guard from Omaha, Nebraska,
averaged 18.8 points per game in leading her team to the 2001 Dakota
Showcase title. She tallied 21 points in the championship win over the
Minnesota Quest. Woodard averaged 20.1 points per game as a senior at
Bellevue West High School (Class A state tournament sem-finalist) and was
named honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald All-State Team. She will
play college ball at Creighton University. 2001
